J'ai composé ce morceau le jour de mon arrivée à Cuba, où j'étais parti enregistrer un disque avec Komasi. On a atterri en pleine nuit et avec le décalage horaire, je me suis réveillé à 5 heures du matin. Tout le monde dormait alors je suis allé discrètement sur la terrasse avec ma guitare. En découvrant, étourdi, le jour se lever sur cette ville incroyable et magnifique, je jouais et j'ai composé ce titre.

Le clip raconte la suite de cette histoire, mon retour à Paris. Je débarque à l'aéroport d'Orly, prends un taxi partagé avec des inconnus et m'endors à l'arrière du véhicule. Je commence à rêver : ce n'est plus la voiture qui me transporte à toute allure, mais moi qui porte ce fardeau technologique. Obligé de marcher et de ralentir, mon voyage change de tempo et me permet d'apprécier les paysages qui m'entourent. Ce road trip décroissant et anti burn-out nous transporte jusqu'en Normandie et est, comme toujours, le théâtre d'une aventure humaine.

I composed this song "L'aube à la Havane" the day i arrived in Cuba, where I was gone to record an album with my band Komasi. We arrived in the night and with jetlag I was awake at 5 in the morning. Everybody was sleeping so I went quietly on the terrasse with my guitar.
As i was discovering, astonished, day waking up on this crazy beautiful city, i was playing and i wrote this song.
The video tells what's happening next, when I am back in France. Arriving at Paris airport i take a shared cab and I fell asleep on the back seat. I begin to dream : It is no longer the car that transports me at full speed, but me who carries this technological burden. Forced to walk and slow down, my trip changes tempo and allows me to appreciate the landscapes that surround me. This decreasing and anti-burn-out road trip takes us to Normandy and is, as always, the scene of a human adventure.
